This to me is a song that talks about what hardcore is supposed to be about. None of this dumb “my crew VS your crew” bullshit. No sexism, racism, homophobia, none of that. Bricks without mortar are just a stack of bricks. Once you add a strong mortar to hold everything together you can build a house and once you have a house you can have a home. Our attitudes form the mortar that holds us together so that we can build a strong scene, and once we have the scene we can all have a home.
